Fallout: New Vegas' 'Dead Money' DLC trailer drops, explodes and gets our jumpsuits messy

Bethesda has released a new trailer for its first Fallout: New Vegas DLC, 'Dead Money', which can best be described as Oceans 11 with slave collars. Get a sneak peak at out out how you'll soon be getting rich (or decapitated) in the wastelands this holiday season.

Coming first the Xbox 360, 'Dead Money'  task players with infiltrating the legendary vault of the Sierra  Madre casino, after finding themselves fitted with a shiny new slave collar controlled by a mysterious puppet master. The task will require controlling a team of equally screwed team members, all of which must be kept alive in order for the player to make it through alive with triggering a nasty (fatal) headache.

Dead Money is set to cash in on Xbox Live next Tuesday for 800 MSP ($10).

I want to know if breaking into the vault is like breaking in to it, or just shooting your way in. The difference is in 1 way, you use stealth/cunning, on the other, guns and bullets out the ass. It will still rock though. reCAPCHA: actually ragrold. You figure it out.

hmmm not sure as to what I think of this. The story from the trailer doesn't seem as compelling as the ones I heard about when Fallout 3 was going strong. I'll probably give it a go if I have some money lying round

why do people care so much about not being able continue after you beat it. I finished most of the quests before I made it to the final quest and discovered most locations. The only thing you can do after being able to continue is walk around slaughtering everyone in sight which gets boring after like 10 minutes. All I want from the DLC is more than 4 hours of gameplay and more than 6 quests. Something I didn't get from Fo3.

GR why do you torture me when this DLC is only on xbox...or is it?

@Bearkiller: It reminded me of Saw as well. It may just be me, but I don't really get too many bugs or glitches when playing this game. The game has only crashed on me once the entire time I've been playing it and the only bug I've seen is the radscorpions being halfway stuck in the ground. On the other hand, my Fallout 3 copy is now unplayable because of always crashing after about 10 minutes.

Dang, this drops on the same day as Battlefield BC2: Vietnam. Choices...

@obliquezombie My lvl 27 hardcore play through character is currently stuck because I accidentally saved during the last battle and there is no way to go back. Feels bad man... Anyway, I will most likely buy this one the first day is out.

Any news on if it continues past the campaign? It's such an outdated RPG mechanic, and I was very surprised (and angry) that it didn't let me continue after the final battle. Luckily I saved before the last battle! On my second character!

its going to interesting of how both my characters play through this. I got a feeling one of them will be able to talk his way out while the other smashes her way out.

So the slave collar acts like invisibile walls am I right?

Some of those enemies remind me of the snorks from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Either way I'm sold.
