After playing through this holiday’s outstanding selection of co-op games, I have to give the nod to Left 4 Dead for providing the most consistently enjoyable experience. Left 4 Dead hits all the right notes. It’s easy to pick up and play, but develops by stages as new weapons and enemies are introduced. Teamwork and player interaction are vital, and add to the satisfaction of clearing a stage. The minute details create an organic setting that feels uncomfortably real. Each chapter fluidly escalates to a crescendo of gore-drenched fury as the players struggle to hang on till their saviors arrive to whisk them away to safety. By the end of it, you feel a real sense of camaraderie with your teammates. The only negative anyone could come up with was wanting more. Propers to Valve for creating the best co-op experience in a holiday season crowded with top-notch titles.

dammit 4th i meant...and fifth. Left 4 Dead easily sucked i say Fable 2...despite ok co-op is the best game up there

If only Fallout 3 was co-op...

I couldn't beleive the Resistance 2 article. The shiled took forever to recharge? You know you need ammo to replenish it right? Also the classes were so easy to figure out...

Personally I think it's R2, followed by Gears 2, then CoD WaW

u kno its not tht hard to kill most enemies in Resistance and if u have a grenade and alot of enemies crunched together u will get a satisfying boom and bodies flying...but the leveling system needs to be changed and medics always get 4 times more xp then soldiers do unless the soldier kills every single thing in the level

and good point shield doesnt recharge the spec ops need to give u ammo packs if u didnt figure that out be4 writing this you need to p[lay more...also i beat almost every single coop level with 3 people so as long as everyone knows their job all you need is 3 people having 8 people that somewhat know their jobs isnt nearly as good as having 3 people that know what they have to do...SOLDIERS-KILL AND PROTECT/SPECOPS-KILl AND GIVE AMMO TO SOLDIERS AND MEDICS/MEDICS-HEAL EVERYONE AND SUCK LIFE CAUSE YOU ALSO REVIVE FASTEST. simple enough rite?
