Hmm, Interesting. Y'know, I honestly wasn't paying much attention to this game, but most reviews for it sound more than positive for it, and hey, if the story is worth it, I may give it a try sooner than later ^^

Yeah well Reggie was constantly reminding you about it every single Nintendo direct because people bitch about localizations.
  • BladedFalcon - January 8, 2014 4:11 p.m.

Watching nintendo directs are for chumps. I just wait and let game sites tell me the relevant info.
  • Vonter - January 8, 2014 8:12 p.m.

I think from a non fan perspective it can be awkward and obnoxious but I find it quirky, usually when they use game assets to deliver a joke or announcement. It'll be better if they invited more third parties especially the W-101 direct make me interested in the game (and I think Kamiya trolled Iwata in that one).

Really, seeing that all the people that have replied to this saying positive or acceptable things about the Direct presentations are all well documented Nintendo fans... (You, Shawkster, CyberNinja, and Dr. Pancakes freely admitted it's all he watches.) I'd say you're completely right: They only make sense to hardcore fans :P

I am also a Sony fan as well, I also watch every major event they do that is related to gaming

I never said you weren't, and that's fine. I simply get bored by those overlong presentations. Not Just Nintendo's but also Microsoft's and Sony's. Only events I willfully sit trough are E3 or major press events, and most of the time not even fully.
  • Vonter - January 10, 2014 10:50 a.m.

Yeah its a hardcore fun thing. I mostly can't stand Sony press conferences since they seem, too serious and penguin suit boring. Nintendo has an odd way to tease or announce things. This one for example I really didn't get if has been already revealed what it was for.
  • shawksta - January 8, 2014 9:16 p.m.

The more you watch it, the more your used to it. Its actually getting yourself to start watching them thats hard.
  • universaltofu - January 8, 2014 9:31 p.m.

I'm essentially a Nintendo lifer, and yeah, pretty much.

As Cyberninja said, you should play the demo, especially since the demo itself will have its own separate story outside the actual game, making it much more interesting.
  • Doctor_Pancakes - January 8, 2014 6:35 p.m.

I'm on it! Can't wait to jump into this demo!
  • BladedFalcon - January 8, 2014 8:47 p.m.

Wait, so the demo is not something that happens in the game itself? ._. Okay, NOW I'm most definitely intrigued, and willing to get the demo! XD
