Are PAX attendees more excited for the PS4 or Xbox One?

PAX 2013 is in full swing, with thousands descending on the Seattle Convention center to check out the year's biggest games. This year, in particular, is poised to be especially exciting--with new consoles right around the corner, gamers have their first chance to check out that the next-generation of hardware has to offer.

So, what are PAX gamers most excited for? We asked dozens of attendees which they wanted to buy later this year. Here's their response.

It's the best next gen system out right now.
  • BladedFalcon - September 3, 2013 10:55 a.m.

It's not even better than the current gen systems that have been out for 8 years now...

Caption: Sonic's Final Smash... That's what it felt like... (sigh)

Better question: Are PAX attendees more excited for games or television cable boxes.
  • Eightboll812 - September 1, 2013 8:19 p.m.

I know you are saying that jokingly, but it bears mentioning the TV stuff is one of the great marketing cover ups surrounding the Xbone. It has no cable box built in, and it has no *TV* DVR capabilities at all. So the only way to have you Xbone be the only entertainment box is to hide away your cable box and DVR so you can't see them, even though they are still essential components to TV watching.

Indeed. That's why the X-Bone is trying to conquer the living room by still requiring that we use everything in our living room to prop it up. More like Waterloo than Austerlitz for the Xbone's napoleonic 'tude.

Xbox One, but not at launch. And how many people recognized Holinder in that video?

Hey! trying to poke my eye with the microphone ain't nice Coop! D: Pretty fun video ^^ I gotta love how Sessler remained a staunch Neutral for his own safety XD

I literally laughed out loud when you said "we all could've guessed that" Coop, and also that kid going "uhmmm, i they both...umm.. hmm", lol'd. I think i'm gonna have to go with the smartass who said pc to be honest. If it has to be a console, I think xbox because i'm way more in love with the controller and way more used to the 360 controller than ps3. But eventually i'll be able to get that controller to use for pc since apparently I became a pc gamer.
