i learned the concept of residual income from Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, and probably Revelations (havent played it yet). Greek mythology from God of War, problem-solving from various puzzle games like Catherine, keeping a low profile: Metal Gear Solid, Second Sight, just about any stealth game. like it was mentioned, pattern recognition from most fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, pretty much any game with any kind of combat. lets not forget the patience and hand-eye coordination from just about every video game ever made! :D

Heh Heh Cultural acceptance Katamari Damacy, its sad but true the olny responses to those games are to accept it or walk away shaking your head saying wtf just happened. I would like to say that the game Black and White taught me a few things because most of the game was manipulating a hand that when you look at it today is essentially the same as manipulating a 3d environment with a touchscreen device. That and it taught you about division of labor (farmer, fishermen, Woodsman, disciple, builder, lover? (this was an important job in that game)) also some basic farming techniques (Field+ Giant Turds+ Water= Crops)

While it's definitely a must, you need a lot more than just persistence to be able beat Smoug and Ornstein XD (awesome entry and pic, is basically what I'm saying.) Also, as a suggestion, perhaps: Commitment...? (Catherine) could work?
