mario cart is just plane trash it sucks and not a real raceing game if u want a real raceing game just get forza but this mario games is onlyt good for one reason and that to babysat 3 year olds

I think from the get-go it was never meant to be a real racer in the vain for forza or gran turismo to begin with so your complaint in this post is invalid. While the game is simple to play and its cartoonish aesthetics (its a mario game), it is still strategic when it comes to item management and racer attributes, so every age demography can play, so your statement on only 3 years old can play it is also wrong. I love forza, its a great game, i play it every now and then and i think its one of the best racing game if not the best this generation, but IMO, when it comes to having competitive fun with friends and loved ones, i can't see that happening with forza or even gran turismo for that matter, mario kart wins in that department and their is no denying that.

You can't impart reason upon the willfully ignorant. Best to leave him to wallow in the filth of his own choosing.

Rule #1 of Tehtimeisnow: If there is a Nintendo article, he will most likely comment on it in an ignorant fashion. Rule #2 of Tehtimeisnow: If there is a Call of Duty, or an iPhone/ipad/ipod touch article, he will ignorantly comment on it about how it's the best thing EVAR. Rule #3 of Tehtimeisnow: DO NOT FEED HIM. If there are any questions on how to approach Tehtimeisnow, please refer back to this handy instruction comment and read the 3 rules.

You don't know how many times I've tried to tell the other users to ignore him. I've got a new idea. Any user who comments on anything tehtimeisnow says loses. Loses what, I don't know (or care), but that person loses.

This guy takes the time out of his daily life to type ridiculous ideas like a moron. Everyone on this site does not take him seriously so now he is just wasting his time, as if he had anything else to do that was important. How is your mom's basement this fine evening buddy?

I love Mario Kart because you can always come back to it later, without tons of practice.
  • TheFabricOfTime - August 20, 2012 10:36 a.m.

I love Mario Kart because there's many ways to play. You can use weapons in different ways. You can drift and boost. Aim for the lead, or play it safe in the back to boost forward to 1st at the end of the race. You can take shortcuts or take the safe route. Anyway you play, it's still a blast after so many years.

    >And that's why Nintendo has never released another console based around innovative, easily-misused technology. Hurr hurr, I C wat U did thar.

It's weird how Mario Kart seems to be one of the only successful series of spinoff games (along with Super Smash Bros. and a few others). It's just a consistently excellent and popular game.

You couldn't wait until next Monday GR? SMK came out in Japan on Aug. 27.

...i rather enjoyed Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest... Granted, it wasn't a Final Fantasy game by any stretch of the imagination, but it was still a fun game.

My sister and I, up until a few months ago, still had weekly MK64 tournaments. It was just the two of us, but it was something we always did. MK7 might be a better game, but I MK64 has a permanent place in my gamer heart, just for the memories.
