Metroid 2 Remake
Too long the forgotten middle sibling of the original Metroid series due to its lineariity and release on the Game Boy, Metroid 2 is recieving some overdue limelight now thanks to a retooling from a certain DoctorM64. The game is currently incomplete but it already looks easily on a par with Super Metroid and Samus' DS outings. And thanks to an early downloadable tech demo, we can tell you the gameplay is more than up to standard too. Get it here, and keep your fingers crossed that Nintendo doesn't hit it with a cease and decist before it's finished.
