Battle Fortress backyard

When you unlock Mario go to the back of the castle and go right and you'll see the blocks. Punch two and you will go to the Battle Fortress.

When you enter the castle, go upstairs to the door on the right that leads to Mario, Luigi, and Wario's locked doors, and jump into the picture of Princess Peach on the right. When you're in, slide down the slide into a room with an Exclamation box. Jump onto the box and you've got the star.

First, go to the wooden doors on the first floor, when you enter the castle. You need Mario for this. Run down the hall into the backyard. On your right, there are three brick squares. Break them, and you'll see a hole. Jump down and collect all of the blue stars, until you see a yellow star.

Before you do this, make sure you have Luigi because this requires him. Once you have Luigi (and have 31 stars) beat the second Bowser and then you'll get the key to the locked doors upstairs when you enter the castle. Then go to the room with the picture of Luigi. Then get the power flower on either pedestal and he'll turn invisible. Go through the mirror and then go through the door in the mirror and you'll be in a white room with the star in the middle. Take the star and exit the room.

One Of The Castle's Secret Stars Room with Jolly Rodger Bay Portrait

To get this cheat, you'll need at least 3 stars. First go to the room with a #3 on it on the far right. Then if you go back to the door, you'll see 2 holes. Do a tripple jump to get up to the hole (to do one, jump 3 times and if you're timed correctly, you'll jump really high). If you go in the hole that doesn't have a life, that's where the star is located. Collect all 8 coins to get a star

Big Boo Battle

When you jump into Luigi's Painting, You will land in a room with a carousel. Go in the door to your right. Run across the collapsing bridge then run round the eye for a blue coin. Go through the door on your left. Jump onto the platform and go in the door to your right. Take the platforms round to the door on your left. Run across the extremley long collapsing bridge and take the platforms into the hole.

To free luigi you'll have to go to Big Boo's mansion and go onto the balcony. Once your on the balcony a painting of Luigi will be there. Jump into it and complete the level to retrieve the key to open Luigi's door and free him.

To free Wario you'll have to be playing as Luigi, On the second floor in the glass room there will be a 3 or 4 power flowers on the these stone statues. Grab a flower to turn Luigi invisible, then walk through the mirror and jump into the painting with Wario on it. Finish of the level to get the key to free Wario.

First you have to get into big Boo's house. Then go to the second floor. When you get to the second floor go in the door on the right. Once you get in you have to do a wall jump. Then if you wall jump high enough you should land on a third floor. You will see a door there. When you get in you will see another door that leads to the balcony.

Luigi's 2 Most Tricky Rabbits

Are you running around in search of the rabbits for luigi? These are the 2 your probably looking for. The first tricky one is so easy to get i cant believe i had a tough time on this this guy is so easy. go in the 8-star room in peach's rec room with Luigi. Boom there it is. The other tricky one is on top of the roof of the castle and he is only accessible after you collect all 150 stars. But the mini-games to them aren't that great cuz there both slot games.

Look at the sun in the castle after getting Mario, then you'll be flying hit the switch on the center platform, leave and come back to get every red coin. They are in a circle around the whole place.

Wario's Basement Star

Go upstairs to the far right where it has a star with no number on.Go in and you'll see Princess Peach on a stained glass.Jump in to the one on your right, and you're in the Secret Slide for a Power Star.Go to the bottom floor and you'll see a brown door {with no star on it}.Go in and you'll see a big door with a key hole.Go in go to to the stairs, and go in and you'll see a brown door go in .You'll see a paint of a face with fire.Go to your left until you see a brown door.Go in then jump in the water and swim in it until you see two pillers. Ground pound one of them to drain the water.Open the brown door and you'll be under the Castle's bridge.Run until you see a sqaured black hole.Jump in it and you'll see the Blue Vanishing Cap! In the area where there's the painting of the guy with the fired face. When you first enter the main doors to the castle walk up the stares and to your right go to the last door. In that room there will be three windows jump in the one on the right side. In that stage you can get two stars. To get the second go down the slide until the tunal opens up and jump off the left side befor the slop then you will hit the track below you. from then on out it's up to you to beat the course in 20 seconds to earn another star. from Lazy Boy

After you get 8 stars you can enter the room on the 2nd floor with a star on it. Enter the room and walk towards the Peach picture and you will fall through the trap door Bowser has placed. Beat Bowser at the end of the level and he'll give you a key. Once you are back to the entrance of the castle go through one of the brown doors on either side of the stairs. This will lead you to a hallway where you immediately turn left. Walk down the stairs and walk down the hall to the left. Enter the door. Turn right and then walk forward until you see the fiery face. take a left and another left until you see a dead end. jump through the wall straight ahead and you will be in Shifting Sand Land.

Course 4 is located near the left side of the Castle's first floor. From the entrance of the Castle, walk forward to the base of the large red stairwell. Go to the left of the stairs and enter the door that has a yellow star with the number three on it. Once inside the small room, go forward and jump into the center painting of the snowman. You need three Stars to enter this course.

Star 1: Slip Slidin' Away

Jump on top of the cabin near the entrance of the course, then enter the chimney. Once inside, slide down to the bottom of the Snow Slide, then exit through the wooden door and collect the Star. If you are having difficulties safely reaching the bottom of the slide, there's a shortcut that will make things a little easier for you. The shortcut is located in the first tunnel you pass through. While sliding through the tunnel, look for a row of five Yellow Coins that are lined up in the direction of the right wall. Follow the path into the wall to locate a hidden passageway. This shortcut will take you straight to the end of the slide.

Star 2: Li'l Penguin Lost

Go to the top of the mountain and pick up the Baby Penguin, then carry it to the bottom of the mountain. Bring the Baby to its mother and she will give you the Star. To get to the Baby Penguin: From where you begin Course 4, jump up onto the Cabin's chimney, then jump up to the top of the mountain. Stand next to the Baby Penguin and press the A Button to grab onto it. To return it to its Mother: Slide down the mountainside until you reach the wooden bridge with the two jumping Snowmen. Carefully walk across the wooden bridge, then continue down to the bottom of the mountain. With the Baby Penguin in hand, talk to the Mother Penguin to receive the Star.

Star 5: Snowman's Lost His Head

>From where you begin Course 4, jump up onto the cabin's chimney, then jump up to the top of the mountain. Go left. Drop down to the wooden platform and talk to the Snowman's body. The body will start rolling down the mountain slide. Race the body down to the Snowman's head at the bottom of the mountain slide. You cannot take any shortcuts. If you jump off the mountainside, the Snowman's Body will not follow Mario into the Snowman's head. Quickly stand to the left or the right side of the Snowman's head and wait for the body to bounce into the head. If it doesn't work, restart the objective and try it again. Afterward, talk to the Snowman to receive the Star.

Star 6: Mario's Super Wall Kick

If you haven't spoken with the Pink Bob-omb yet, you must first do so. Then, enter the Cannon near the base of the tram. Move the crosshairs down and left until you see a ledge with a snow-covered tree on it. Aim the crosshairs so the center is about two inches above the tree, then shoot out of the Cannon. If successful, you'll grab onto the tree; if not, try again! Follow the narrow path around the mountain, then Long Jump over the large gap. Continue up the path, then back to the right until you reach a blue wall. Wall Kick off the blue wall and land on the ledge to the left. Continue up the path and time a Double Jump so that the second jump is near the end of the path. If timed correctly, you can then Wall Kick off the upper portion of the wall and land on the ledge to the right. Carefully walk across the icy bridge and collect the Star.

You can collect 100 coins using any of the Star objectives. You'll find 154 coins on the course. A Blue Coin equals five Yellow Coins. A Red Coin equals two Yellow Coins.

Talk to the Koopa and agree to race him to the mountaintop. If you win, he'll give you a Star. You can only complete this objective as Mario. If you are not Mario, check the Touch Screen for the location of the nearest Mario Hat. Collect it, then come back to Koopa to race. The race calls for you to follow the same path you took to reach the Big Bob-omb at the top of the mountain. From where you begin Course 1, follow the dirt path over the wooden bridge. Continue past the Big Chomp, then over the unstable wooden bridge. Go right through the opening in the metal fence. Go right and cross the small pit with rolling balls. Follow the dirt path up the mountain, making sure to avoid all of the large black rolling balls.

Collect the five Silver Stars scattered throughout the area, then collect the Star near the entrance. Collect the stars in any order. All Stars are visible on the Touch Screen Map. Any time you are hit by an enemy, you will drop one of the stars you have collected. One Star is above the tree near the entrance. One Star is attached to the Chomp's chain. One Star is inside a tree on the left side of the course. One Star is in a flower patch on the far side of the course. One Star is carried by a Goomba at the base of the mountain.

Star 4: Big Bob-omb's Revenge

Star 7: Behind Big Chomp's Gate

>From where you begin Course 1, follow the dirt path to the stationary wooden bridge. Continue left to the Chain-Chomp, then quickly Stomp the wooden post that he's chained to. Repeat this two more times until the Chain-Chomp breaks free and opens the gate for you. Enter the small opening behind the gate to collect Star 7.

You can collect 100 coins using any of the Star objectives. Although we don't have directions to locate the coins, you'll find 146 coins on the course. A Blue Coin equals five Yellow Coins. A Red Coin equals two Yellow Coins.

You have to have a fair amount of stars to do this. First when you enter the castle you know there are two wooden doors on the side of the stairs. Go in one of them. When you enter one you will see a ghost if you don't your not far enough. After you go down the long hallway and into the gardin go to the very right top corner. You will see a couple of red blocks to smash. Smash the one in front of the other two and you drop down a hole. Collect all five silver stars to get a real one.

Notice that there is a cannon with a cage over it in the castle's front yard and you don't know how to open it? well, Original Super Mario 64 Veterans will probably know after all 150 stars are collected, the cage will be open. when it is, you may shoot yourself up onto the castle roof. There is 3 free lives up there and a box to fly, get fire breath, turn invisible, or turn metal (depending on the character you are). Sorry to say, there is no one up on top with 100 lives for you unlike the original in which Yoshi is up there waiting for you to give you 100 lives and give you thanks from the Super Mario 64 team.

Once you have gotten all 120 stars take a journey back to cool mountain and enter the 'big race' with the penguin. Now he's huge and takes a long time to beat. Too bad you don't get any reward for beating him, but it sure is hard.

3. You'll slide into a tunnel that holds 2 extra lives and takes you straight to the finish.

In the first course, grab a small bomb-omb nearest Chomp (the big barking bomb). Then throw the little bomb under Chain Chomp and if it is done correctly the chain chomp will blast straight up and then fall back down onto the post. It's a lot of fun to watch and helps a little when you have to stomp down the post.

In Course 10, Snowman's Land, another cool trick for Mario is his new way to cross the ice bridge. Use the cannon to launch up to the tree, then get to the face of the giant snowman. Before crossing the ice bridge by using the penguin's help (walking at his side), try jumping on his head instead.

What will happen is that Mario will end up sitting on the penguin's head, and will avoid the strong gust of wind that normally pushes him off.

Distorting Mario's Face

Right after you enter the the game, before you press start to play, press A on the control pad and you will see a little hand appear. You can now pull on Mario's ears nose hat etc.

When you go inside the castle, stand on the sun in the middle of the floor. Now press the top c button and look up into the sunlight. The screen will change, and you'll be flying up in the air!

Final Bowser as you can guess is super hard. First grab his tail ASAP if he breathes out a bunch of flames don't grab it until it clears. When you have his tail you probaly won't hit the bomb. throw him to the nearest edge. Now grab his tail again when spinning slow down until you can actually aim then fire he won't go that far but it should be enough to hit if you're close enough. When you go into the star shaped arena just throw him and hope it hits. I know this strategy isn't that good but if you do it it should work. Then you win and at the end you hear Mario's voice saying "Thank you for playing my game" that plus the fun makes all of it worth it.

Course 3 is located on the right side of the Castle's first floor. From the entrance of the Castle, follow the red floor to the far right door that has a yellow star with the number three on it. Enter the door, then go forward and jump into the painting of the sunken ship. You must have three Stars to enter

Swim to the deep section of water and locate a cave within the seawall. Swim through the cave's tunnel to reach a secluded dry area with falling pillars. Follow the path to the end of the cave and open the chests in the following order: Open the chest at the rear of the room; open the chest to the left of the first chest you opened; open the chest on the far right side of the room; and then open the remaining chest to receive the Star.

You need to play as Luigi to get this Star. Swim to the deep section of water and locate a cave within the seawall. Swim through the cave's tunnel to reach a secluded dry area with falling pillars. Hit the Red Block for a Power Flower to make Luigi Invisible. Follow the right wall to locate a star switch next to a wooden sign. Step on it to make a Star appear. Follow the path to the end of the cave to collect the Star.

You can collect 100 coins using any of the Star objectives. You'll find 104 coins on the course. A Blue Coin equals five Yellow Coins. A Red Coin equals two Yellow Coins.

Course 2: Whomp's Fortress

Course 2 is located near the right side of the Castle's first floor. From the entrance of the Castle, walk forward to the base of the large red stairwell. Go to the right of the stairs and enter the door that has a yellow star with the number 1 on it. Once inside the small room, go forward and jump into the painting of large fortress tower. You must already have one Star to enter the Fortress

Star 1: Chip off Whomp's Block

Collect the Star that's located inside the floating caged island in the sky. From where you begin Course 2, jump into the tree and awaken the friendly Owl. Grab the Owl by holding the A Button, then allow the Owl to fly you above the Fortress. Once directly over the caged island, let go of the Owl and drop down onto the Star.

You can collect 100 coins using any of the Star objectives. You'll find 141 coins on the course. A Blue Coin equals five Yellow Coins. A Red Coin equals two Yellow Coins.

White Rabbits' Secret Star

Occasionally, in places where you would normally see a colored rabbit, there will be a glowing white rabbit. I can't tell you where they are because they shift around lots, but they are always replacing a normal rabbit. There are 8 of them in total, and if you get all 8, they will give you a key to the 4th locked door in the room where you can switch characters (the key is for the door without a letter on it). Inside the door is one of the Castle's Secret Power Stars. Note: as with the character doors, you won't actually see the room behind the door, but your character will come out holding a Star. If you go into the room again, you will hear some Boos laughing, and your character will come out and say something. Since different characters have different rabbits, use all of the characters to find rabbits. For me, the first and last rabbits were found by Yoshi in the front lawn, and all the rest were found by Mario in the basement.

Once you have 50 stars and have beat bowser the second time,go to the star door on the forth floor and stand outside the entrance of TICK-TOCK Clock. Wait for both hands to reach 12"O clock" and jump in. The course will be frozen. It will give you a big advantage.

First go to the 1st Snow Level. Then go into the slide. If the Penguin's there say Don't Go to him. Butt Bounce on the slide. (R+A) Then on the first right turn, kind of turn to where you go off close to the corner of the turn, go off the edge, and if done correctly you should go through an invisible wall. You won't die yet but the game will think your still falling but you're actually levitating over the course. You will soon find yourself over the course out of bounds. Turn the camera to see a full view of the slide.

You need to have Gameshark for this code. Turn on your Gameshark with Super Mario 64, and select the "Mario Can Walk Up Hills" cheat (you can also turn on any other codes, but you have to have that one on). Start the game and go to "Cool, Cool Mountain". Start the level and go down to where the wooden chairlift thing is (it's by the mother penguin). Get on the chairlift and instead of it taking you up, you stay floating in the air! You can stay there as long as you want, but if you move, you will fall from your floating position and die.

At the title screen, you will see either Mario or Yoshi's head. Click on it, and you will then see a doodle picture of them. You can drag their face around the screen.

First enter the castle and walk up the stairs, go through the door with a keyhole on it. Climb up the stairs. Once you are on the second story, jump into the portrait with the mountain, waterfall and mushrooms on it (stage number 12). Once you are there run by the goombas and you see a trench/cliff, run over by hitting b then a. repeat for second cliff. Run along the ledge untill you get to the monty moles. Run by those and you will see bomb-ombs, run by those too. Then you will reach a terrace with a giant purple bomb-omb, run by this along a thin bridge with coins on it (Be very careful running by this, if it grabs you it will likely throw you off the stage). Once you have cleared the bridge you will jump up one ledge attached to the other. One on top of these there is a monkey that follows you. Pick him up and he will talk to you. As soon as you put him down he will steal your hat. Don't worry you can always catch him again to get your hat back. Also, you can get your hat back by talking to a toad that wears your hat in the castle.

To do this you have to lower the water under the bridge of the castle. Go into the hole where the blue switch is. When you are in slide down. When you are sliding there are platforms that have on them 1UPs get them if you can and fall down. Don't worry you will not dye you will be near the fountain of the castle and your lives stay the same. repeat this until you have 100 lives!

WAIT THAT'S NOT IT!!! After Mario (or character) hits his head and he is on the 2nd ledge go to the right and around the corner and hit the box to get a total of 3 lives.

First you have to lower th water outside of the castle. Then you go to the level where you are invisible. From there look down at the platforms, but stay a safe distance away from the black dot. There's like 5-8. Try to go onto the platforms with lives. It should take you a while because it's pretty much about 10-30 minutes. Once you have collected all of the lives just jump off the edge you won't lose any lives. Continue this process about 20 times and then you will have 100 lives.
