11.1 Miles- Left side. Paved path that runs parallel to the main road. 

            Useful. Although it doesn't help you as far as saving distance 

            goes, it doesn't hurt you either. Plus, the path is paved, and 

            you can run this whole stretch without being harassed by cops and

            other racers. A dirt road forks off to the left at one point 

            during the shortcut. Ignore it.

6.1 Miles- Left side. Straight dirt road. Barely useful. Distance saved doesn't

           really make up for speed lost.

2.8 Miles- Right side. Dirt road goes through tunnel and leads directly

               560-4, Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera

10.5 Miles- Right side. Paved road that runs parallel with the highway. 

            Although no distance is saved, none is lost either, and you won't

            lose any speed since it's paved. It will also allow you to be 

            free of cops for the entire stretch. At some point a dirt road 

            will fork off of the shortcut on the right side. Ignore it.

6.3 Miles- Left side. Paved road runs parallel with main road, passes by 

           some satellite dishes. Somewhat useful, mainly as a cop deterrent,

           though it isn't very long.

5.4 Miles- Right side. Dirt road with rocks on either side of the main path. 

           Useful.

           I think, but for some reason it's been left open. The actual 

           shortcut is just the small dirt strip connecting the two roads. 

           Turn right onto the actual road and keep going. After a while you

           will notice another small dirt strip to your left. The other side

           of it is blocked off, but you can actually drive through the yellow

           arrows from the side you are on. Turn right and you will be back

           on the main highway. Unfortunately, this particular glitch is 

           barely useful. It is a long straight paved road, and the whole 

           time on it you will be free of cops, traffic, and other racers. 

           However, having to make three 90 degree turns means that you will

           never be able to finish the race as quickly as you can if you manage

           to do a perfect run on the highway, which isn't as hard as it 

           sounds. Also, an extra, albeit useless tidbit: When you're on the

           side road, if you keep going instead of turning left to get back 

           onto the highway, you can actually make one big u-turn and hit 

           the finish line from the OTHER side.

           Take this if you are having cop troubles. You can bounce back onto

           the highway at numerous points in this shortcut if you want.

           you're careful.

2.0 Miles- Right side. Dirt road with a bunch of rocks in the main path. 

           The last part is useful, but the first part is a waste of speed, so

           time. Should only be used if you are being hounded by cops.

2.1 Miles- Left side. Dirt road goes through a tunnel. Seems useful, but 

           the distance saved doesn't make up for the loss in speed.

           only hurts your time. Ignore it.

6.0 Miles- Right side. Dirt road goes into a tunnel, leads directly into 

           next shortcut. Useful.
