It's cold outside, so why not bring the exercise class to you?

With temperatures dropping and the darkness rolling in half-way through the afternoon, braving the outside world to get some exercise can feel pretty difficult. Fortunately, Ring Fit Adventure offers the perfect way to train without ever leaving your house. There are loads of ways to take advantage of Nintendo's fitness-focused game, so here's a look at how to get a great winter workout from the comfort of your living room.

When it comes to Ring Fit Adventure, there's no better place to start than the Adventure Mode itself. Across its 23 worlds, you and your companion Ring will battle the evil Dragaux and his cronies, offering a range of workouts focusing on different parts of your body. Between encounters, you'll be able to jog through a series of beautiful landscapes bringing a touch of colour to your exercise regime, even when the skies are dark outside.

If you like your workouts a little shorter, you can focus on Ring Fit Adventure's range of Quick Play workouts and Minigames instead. In Quick Play, you can choose a pre-made workout targeting a specific area, ideal for anything from Leg Day to some recovery stretching. In Custom Mode, you can tailor your experience even further, adding your choice of a dozen minigames to make sure you stay warm. You can even challenge your friends to get things really heated up.

If you're looking for a burst of energy, Ring Fit adventure also offers a Rhythm Mode, adding a splash of colour to your workout along with some classic Nintendo tunes to dance along with. And if you need to cool down or simply take a moment of quiet meditation, you can use Custom Mode to create your very own Yoga class.

All of these different winter workouts can be adjusted to suit you, whether you're piecing together your own fitness regime from scratch or simply dialling down the intensity of your exercise using the 30 different difficulty levels (which you can adjust based on factors like age and desired intensity) to help you keep it moving. However you choose to move this winter, Ring Fit Adventure is there to keep you warm.
