This roguelike deckbuilder shows off another of its adventure campaigns, this time featuring a greedy lord and a bloody big dragon, and it sounds perfect for D&D fans
Hellcard 2's latest trailer unveils the Blackmail Manor adventure
Co-op roguelike dungeon crawler and deckbuilder Hellcard 2 reveals another adventure, Blackmail Manor, in a new trailer shown at FGS Live From Los Angeles.
The trailer itself tells of a noble lord overflowing with wealth and hubris who attempts to rebel against the queen. She sends in eager heroes to crush the traitor lord (that's where you come in!), but it's clear that he and his massive red dragon won't be put down without a fight – a dragon in a dungeon? It's more likely than you think.

Blackmail Manor is the second adventure revealed for Hellcard 2 so far, joining the more occult-themed Evil Manor. These adventures serve as campaigns for players to follow, each taking place in a unique map with their own objectives and bosses – each one has more content than all of Hellcard 1!
Being a roguelike, there's also some randomness to each adventure, so they won't play the same way twice if you make different choices. While every adventure starts at the same entrance and ends with same final boss, you can unlock unique locations or hidden paths based on the side-quests you complete and equipment you grab.
Hellcard 2 also builds on the deckbuilding of Hellcard 1 with unlockable gear that you can equip to modify your deck, new D&D-style character stats, and your hero's appearance. You'll be able to play with these new character build options solo where you're in control of the whole party or with up to three other players where you can coordinate with your own characters.
Hellcard 2 hasn't got an exact release date just yet, but we know it's coming to PC and consoles later in 2026 – Q3 specifically, so that's July to September. While you wait, you can keep up with all the latest on Hellcard 2 by following the developers here.
