Channel the wrath of Ramsay in Pizza Bandit as you kill things for money to open a restaurant

To be honest, Pizza Bandit is a pretty familiar genre: what if you were a time-traveling pizza shop owner using their mercenary skills to fund a restaurant. Just you and up to three friends embarking on co-op shooter missions to battle monsters, claim bounties and learn valuable cooking tips in the quiet bits without screaming.

Okay, so maybe it's not quite the usual set up. But the more important thing here is that our latest look at gameplay from the Future Game Show confirms an Early Access launch heading your way on the 25th of August. So you'll be able to test out your combat cooking before the end of the month

Pizza Bandit blends together a mission based shooter and a cooking game where you play as an ex mercenary with a dream of owning a pizza restaurant. To achieve that dream you and up to three friends can embark on a time travelling journey of bullets and Burrata to chase down bounties, and get the cooking experience you need to cater for all your customers' tastes.

Just like real restaurant management you'll have to master a tough combat challenge as you learn the catering basics. During an average mission you'll have to deal with enemy attacks while learning to cook, managing an array of goals and tasks. As you deal with enemies and objectives you'll also be on the lookout for cooking actions you can complete in a level to work your way to becoming a better chef

You'll need to think about your loadout for every mission and upgrade as you progress, earning credits from bounty missions to buy the furniture, fittings, and decorations you need/want to get your restaurant just right. And, at the same time, you can customise your character with the clothes, hair and accessories to get across whatever kind of murder chef persona you want to portray.

Find out more by following the game on Twitter/X and don't forget to wishlist the game on Steam ahead of the Early Access launch the 25th of August.
