In the United States, Redbox kiosks are a fairly common sight outside of grocery stores and pharmacies. The company boasts that they have over 24,000 kiosks spread out throughout the country. After testing videogame rentals through its vending machines in Austin, Wilmington, and Reno, Redbox is ready to expand its selection of DVD and Blu-Ray movies to include videogames.
Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, DS and Wii titles are expected to be available to rent for $2 a night. The service is expected to launch within the next few weeks.
