Bungie fights off Destiny's biggest enemy, the lag, with matchmaking update

Lord Saladin is about to get better at finding Crucible partners for you in Destiny, thanks to a new matchmaking update rolling out on Wednesday. In a post regarding the update, Bungie writes that post-Taken King the devs have worked to balance a matchmaking system that favors strong connections vs one that favors similar skill level.

"In light of recent feedback from the community, it’s very clear that we have more work to do. As that work progresses, I'd also like to pledge that you'll be more included in that process," community manager DeeJ writes. To properly compare data, Bungie will implement the new matchmaking system on Wednesday, January 27, at 10am Pacific - 24 hours after the Iron Banner began this morning.

If you play before and after the change, you're encouraged to leave feedback letting Bungie know how the experience went.
