How Carnby actually finds light remains up to the player - it could be your flashlight (but remember to pack batteries!) or a glow stick; it could be a car’s headlights; it might simply be a makeshift torch you’ve whipped up after waving a table leg wrapped in cloth through some fire. Remember: the dark is your enemy - most enemies take advantage of it, and some reside exclusively in the twilight and can’t be defeated without some kind of light-based attack.
