backup - The Chosen Undead. That guy/girl could fill almost any role, and he/she will regenerate at the nearest bonfire should he/she die. Just make sure that you have plenty of humanity in stock to keep him/her on our side

Ratchet and/or clank - The Jack(s) of all trades No matter what kind of problem that needs fixing; Ratchet is always the Lombax for the job. Horde of zombies blocking your way? R.Y.N.O. 36 auto-locked rockets obliterating everything in our group's path. Flooded control room? Suck all that inconvenient water out with the Hydro pack. Big door needs unlocking? Trespasser lock picking device. Need some comic relief? Turn some bad guys/demons/zombies into chickens with the Morph-O-Ray. Not only that but hes a good pilot, handy with a wrench whether its for bashing aliens or tuning ships. To top it off he has experience with saving planets from evil. I only have knowledge from the first game, but i think i made my point clear.

I'd maybe have stuck in Solid/ Naked Snake, just in case anything required any degree of stealth. Or maybe Raiden, for the same reason, but also because he's shown he can hand;e himself in a fight without any arms, let alone with two.

Max Payne would be perfect for the wild card person that every super group has. He's cynical, a painkiller addict, fairly careless when it comes to putting his own life in danger, and just a generally shady character. But he's also willing to lay down his life for the right cause. Plus, has anyone else faced such overwhelming odds and seen more shit hit more fans than ole Maxy and come out on top? Not really.

How about Gordon Freeman, Master Chief, Prophet(crysis), Jason Broody (hey, the guy knows how to survive lol) and Batman? Now thats a team.

What about Nathan Drake? He is no stranger to battle, and there are likely to be Spanish zombies and Nazi demons in the apocalypse. Also, when the world is breaking up from all of the earthquakes and volcano eruptions and what not he would be the best choice for navigating the terrain, since he is able to conveniently find the only possible path to traverse and is super lucky when it comes to finding conveniently-placed ropes. Also, Cid would have been another acceptable choice for engineer.

Holy shiz. I don't know if I could choose between Cid and Lucca. They're both so great :(

Now do one for the ultimate team to bring on the apocalypse.
  • GR_RyanTaljonick - December 21, 2012 8:51 a.m.

    Holy crap, that's brilliant.

Jason Brody (Far Cry 3)- Survival Expert Raiden (MGS/MGR) - CQC Expert, Chief of Slow Motion Minecraft Steve (Minecraft) - Architecture specialist. You're probably gonna need some kind of a base or barricade at one point or another, right?

You'd definitely need Ramon from Professor Layton & the Curious Village in there somewhere. That guy is a powerhouse.

Guys, Guys, Guys. What about the Elite Beat Agents??? I mean, think about it, they can do anything with their awesome dance powers. Manipulating the ghost of dead people? you got it. Motivate would-be losers to become bad-ass at anything they put their mind into? no problem? Staving off an entire, massive alien invasion? Please, they do that every day for breakfast. I mean, having robots, super powered gods and such is all well and good. But why bother when the EBA can do practically all that with just dancing, and much less hassle?
  • Lemming - December 20, 2012 8:02 p.m.

And EBA's original Japanese counterparts, the Ouendan did save the world from a meteor. Imo, greater power than Aeris dying to summon holy.
  • Scuffles - December 20, 2012 9:08 a.m.

Wait didn't Aerith technically summon the Apocalypse in FF7. God its been so long since I played that game.

I like how you picked Femshep. Personally I prefer her to the male Shepard.
