1. When he stares at you and crouches forward scoot back from him just a little.
2. Do a double jump and let Spyro glide. If you did it right, You should take no damage.
3. Before he crouches again Run up and attack him. He wont take damage until three times of dodging his attack.
4. Repeat
There will be once or twice when he uses his earth wave attack don't worry, as long as you have more than one HP, you'll be fine.

Last Level Hint
In the last level, in the well when the souls come out, be careful. The souls will knock your health way down, so jump as much as you can to dodge them.
At the main menu, go to the Extras selection. It will tell you to load a file (in this case yours). Then it will say Art Gallery, Dragon Challenges, and Credits. Select Dragon Challenges and beat all 5 challenges. You have to go in order 1-5. When you beat it will say, "You have unlocked Dark Spyro!" To use him, click left analog stick and you'll be Dark Spyro. You have to be in your file to use it.
