Sonic Generations Collector's Edition announced, for PAL eyes only

Arriving this November, the set will feature special packaging, an individually numbered gold ring replica, a figurine depicting both modern and old-school Sonic, a 20 Years of Sonic Art book, a CD compiled by the Sonic Team, and a documentary entitled History of Sonic: Birth of an Icon. Aside from the extras, the collector's edition will also arrive with free downloadable content for the actual game.

Sonic Generations is scheduled for a November 2011 release on the 360, PS3, and 3DS. Until then, get up to speed with GamesRadar’s recent FAP.

Someone working at SEGA is going to die a miserable death because of this. WHERE'S MY SONIC STATUETTE, SEGAAAAAAAAAA?!

I live in America, I would love to waste money on this, Sega Shut up and take my money by bringing this to the US. We buy more Sonic games than anyone else......sigh

mwah ha ha ha I can get it, for once Europe and Australia have something exclusive to make Americans jealous and not the other way around. mwah ha ha ha. also it is way too expensive in Australia anyway ($170) so no collectors edition for me.
  • IREPMINNEAPOLIS - September 8, 2011 12:55 p.m.

So why is this exclusive to the Aussie's and UK? Because if this were released in the US I'd be buying it day 1.

I'm waiting for SEGA to un-lodge their heads from their asses on this one. Somewhere along the line somebody has to say "hey guys, I just had a crazy idea. You know how we could make even more money? Sell this to fans in North America as well!" Seriously I would spend all the monies on this if it was released in North America, but I'm not going to be too keen on dealing with eBay scalpers after the fact.

THIS ENRAGES ME. If whatever North America gets is even partially less awesome, I will probably be in a bad mood for the rest of whatever day that will be. Not incredibly decisive action, but that stuff is cool. Any word on how much it costs?

No Collector's Edition love for the US? I hope that changes because I would definitely buy it.

I'll rather have the game be good. Not 20%, not 50%. The whole game. Please! D:
