Silent Hill: Book of Memories is quite a departure for the series, adding four-player co-op to a third-person, Diablo-esque dungeon-crawling experience for PlayStation Vita. There's a new trailer for the game which you can see below, or you can download the demo from the PS Vita digital store right now.

Cheesy customization options. Rehashed monsters and designs. An isometric perspective. Health bars. Multiplayer in a survival horror game. I think Konami finally nailed it, they finally managed a new Silent Hill game that absolutely terrifies me without me even playing it.

Looks like the devs missed the entire point of the Silent Hill series. This looks terrible, both from a gameplay / graphics standpoint as well as a story/concept view. I really wish I could forget that this trash was ever conceived. instead of a solid scary and tense silent hill mindbending adventure we get this crap. I hope that silent hill's owners get their act together soon.

Not Really. It looks like a ps2 game. Ive yet to see the demo on ps vita yet so when that comes out i guess ill give you my final verdict but right now it doesnt look too promising.
