RIP Kurt Vonnegut

The American novelist, best known for works including Slaughterhouse-Five (1969) and Cat's Cradle (1963) passed away yesterday aged 84. He wrote 14 books, the first of which in 1952 was the SF work Player Piano (1952), with the later Slaughterhouse-Five being a partly autobiographical time travel story heavily influenced by his experience of the bombing of Dresden during the war.
