    I'm a huge GOW fan but I think I will wait to Christmas to get this if like you said it holds little surprises

    Well, Mikel knows his God Of War so if he says it's an 8 than it's an 8. I'm a little less excited than I was before reading this review but I still can't wait. I was hoping you would say if it was better than 3 similar games or not. I heard it was about 25% longer than Chains Of Olympus and Ready At Dawn know the PSP better than they did before. More of the same is fine with me.

    I don't know how people could be saying the PSP has had slim pickings recently. This year has without a doubt been the PSP's best. I'm STILL playing Peace Walker, and trying to split my time between Birth By Sleep,Valkyria Chronicles 2, Phantasy Star Portable 2 and DJ Max Portable 3. And now I'll have to make time for this. *sigh* The PSP will forever be the Rodney Dangerfield of gaming.

    This it the best God of War because it touches on the personal side of Kratos. [EDITED TO REMOVE SPOILERS] And the psp is not bonedry. Just because it doesn't have as much shovelware as DS doesn't mean that it has no games.We got Tekken DR,Tekken 6,Crisis Core,Kingdom Hearts,Patapon series,Syphon Filter,Resistance,MotorStorm,Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Tag Team,God of War,Rock Band,Bleach,Yu-Gi-Oh,Burnout,Monster Hunter,God Eater,Yakuza,MGS Portable Ops,MGS PeaceWalker and much more.

    I felt a tiny bit dissapointed with God of War 3 because it just felt like more of the same from GOW1 and 2. I should probably wait until next year to get this, two GOW games in one year is a bit too much.

    I liked the first two GOWs, but the third one sort of left me a little disappointed. Recently, Enslaved and Castlevania LoS have left me underwhelmed, too. Maybe I'm just tired of this sort of game. I never played Chains of Olympus, and I don't think I'll try this one out either.

  • Arms of Sparta are fun to use, if not always effective
  • Packs GoW's signature, satisfyingly vicious combat
