Digital Extremes has released a new batch of screenshots showing its long, long, long in development sci-fi action game Dark Sector, which should be with us this month.
Five years ago the dark and moody third-person shooter was originally set in space, with an abundance of generic space marines. Now it takes place in communist Russia, which is clearly much better.
Apart from the straight-forward shooting, the main attraction is the power-absorbent, triple-bladed glaive, which puts a unique twist on the fighting and puzzles by 'absorbing' fire, ice and electricity. Check out more of our Dark Sector coverage here.
