Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on Wii U will not have Elite

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Elite won't be coming to Wii U, at least at launch. Kotaku confirmed with Activision that the Wii U version of the game will not initially integrate with the community stats-tracking service.

"We are currently evaluating options for Call of Duty Elite to support Nintendo's Wii U game system, however Call of Duty Elite for Call of Duty: Black Ops II will not support this platform when the game launches on November 13th," an Activision representative said

Activision recently announced Elite itself will be free for Black Ops 2, but the game's four planned map packs will be available either separately for $15 or together in a $50 season pass. The maps will go live first on Xbox 360, and Activision specifically mentioned they may not appear on all consoles.

Can't wait! No second chance! I love these games, mostly the guns. I just got a M4 like in the game http://www.airsplat.com/airsoft-video-games.htm and they have a bunch of other guns from different games.

MY HEART IS BROKEN! Who gives a f***? If you have Elite honestly, coming from a hardcore CoD player... you are retarded. What a ridiculous $50 you have spent.

This just shows that developers AREN'T taking the system seriously, and treating it as second class again, same as the Wii. Despite how everyone was paid to say how excited they were about it, now you see the truth.

Or it could just be Activision being Activision.

Let me just say, while i am buying the 360 version and not the Wii U version at all, im still impressed how games like this are being prepped for it, and early for the system too! Future things will definitly work as they will have a better grasp of things but im still impressed they managed to get Black ops 2 on the Wii U.
