Savage XR, Natural Selection 2, UnrealTournament 2003 and 2004 (not ut3 though), Tribes: Ascend, Aliens vs Predator 2, Battlefield 1942's mod called Desert Combat if I remember properly; heck w/out the mod the vanilla game was great too. Warsow... Eeeh, I'm prolly forgetting others. Those are the ones that sprung through my mind so far.

I agree with TF2 being #1, the game rocks and I still play it. Borderlands 2 is boring. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I've been playing single player for a few days now and its just shoot enemies, shoot more enemies. Get in car and shoot even more enemies.
  • zombi3grim - November 30, 2012 10:20 a.m.

"I've been playing single player" Thats what your doing wrong
  • nintendo365 - November 30, 2012 3:33 p.m.

I dont even know what to say to this. You took a game thats almost solely advertised for its co-op and judged it by its single player. Its baffling and I dont even know what to say to offend you since you obviously have a problem with missing the point of things. Seriously...
  • Child Of Death - February 10, 2014 3:06 p.m.

Thats the problem. BL2 is not a single player game.
  • treeroy - February 10, 2014 3:09 p.m.

Don't worry about what the other commenters are saying. Borderlands is boring both in single player and multiplayer. With friends, some fights are more enjoyable as you can take more people on and do quests a little faster; there's also some vehicles that are enjoyable with friends. But the bullet spongey enemies and dull as hell quests are still fundamentally bad, and fundamentally there. All having friends with you does is make you tolerate it for a little longer.
  • Child Of Death - February 10, 2014 6:25 p.m.

Dull as hell side quest? You obviously dont have a sense of humor if you think BL2 is boring
  • treeroy - February 11, 2014 12:38 a.m.

I don't find dick jokes all that hilarious so for the most part, Borderlands' sense of humour isn't really up my street. Regardless, the gameplay of the game is boring in its entirety - and it's still boring even if you do find the humour to your tastes. Almost all the quests are kill/fetch quests, the enemies are bulletsponges, and the guns generally don't feel that good. The only good thing about Borderlands is its art style, and Claptrap, and those are subjective things anyway. > >

Best FPS games, and both Halo 4, and CoD are on it? Neither is worth the money. Halo: Reach was great. Halo 3, and Halo 4 sucked (though 3 was far worse than 4, even though 4 took out so many features). CoD was never a good franchise, though the story was good in a couple of them.
  • Child Of Death - February 10, 2014 3:05 p.m.

I will agree with you on COD but Halo 3 and 4 do not suck good sir.
  • phoenixwright13 - July 21, 2013 10:38 a.m.

    What about Bioshock 2?
  • Child Of Death - February 10, 2014 3:04 p.m.

Are you serious? Bioshock 2 multiplayer is buggy, broken, and highly unbalanced. Not to mention that it also diverted resources away from the single player making it shorter than Bioshock 1.
  • Forsakenday - February 10, 2014 2:53 p.m.

LOL Halo 4 is by far the worst game in the series.
  • Child Of Death - February 10, 2014 3:03 p.m.

Haters gonna hate. Halo 4 has the best multiplayer in the series.
  • FoxdenRacing - February 10, 2014 3:52 p.m.

And fans gonna fan, just like this bitter ex-fan is going to bitter. Halo 4 finishes what Reach started, selling the franchise's soul to the 'Loadout Shooter' sub-genre in an attempt to not appear 'stuck in the past' for the new generation of guys that get bored if they don't get some shiny reward every 2 matches and expect get some sort of game stats advantage for sinking time. It's still in the Halo universe, but the multiplayer isn't Halo. Halo is a deathmatcher, a game that rewards skill, strategy, and consistency over reflexes and time spent. Halo starts you on a level playing field...'here's a pistol, find the rest on a map carefully balanced so no spawn point has an advantage'. Halo has simple rules: everyone has the same capabilities; there is no mechanical advantage to be gained before a match begins. Halo does not play favorites, giving dominant players consumable toys that increase their dominance. They may as well drop the Halo name at this point; These days it's Medal of Battlefield Duty: Space Marine Edition.
