Behold! World of Warcraft mega-nerd owns Blizzard at Warcraft lore knowledge

Mock this man all you like. He's my new hero. The reason? I love seeing geeks triumph by being geeky. Filmed at the Quests and Lore panel at last week's Blizzcon, this chap chose to use the very public forum to call out Blizzard on some plot holes in Warcraft's epic canon.

Not possessing his mighty WoW brain, I cannot pretend to understand what he's talking about, but what I do know is that his sizeable comprehension powers and massive balls make him a force to be reckoned with.

Whatever your chosen field, kids, knowledge makes you cool.

Cheers for bringing this guy into our lives, Kotaku!

I adore Warcraft lore, but damn, I was totally lost until he said Aerie Peak. Then I swiftly became lost again. Kudos to this guy for actually having the courage to do that in front of such a large group of people. Blizz should hire him to keep the lore in order =P

See now what would have been even cooler than seeing this video would have been if you guys got an interview with him.

Go man, go :) Now just tell Sony to make the Playstation rewards system worldwide, Nintendo to make a HD console and Activision to stop killing Call of Duty, please.

From 53 to 59; "We got owned by HIM?"
  • diddly - October 27, 2010 7:24 p.m.

I like how he tried to pass it off as "isn't he dead?"
  • switch22 - October 27, 2010 7:11 p.m.

Instead of saying, "We just got owned," the Blizz guy is just like, "Thanks for pointing that out..........." I lol'd.

I always knew there would be something important about the Wildhammer dwarves of Aerie Peak... I never imagined it would be this awesome though.
