Real bummer... but not a suprise.

@MikelRapearse Question: How many of your comments am I going to have to rip apart in one afternoon? Answer: As many as it takes until you learn to spell. "Kno" is not a word. "Know" is. I'd start on "figt," but you get the point. And, Tygerclaws... well played. Haha.

This game actually came out? It just seemed like I've been hearing about it my entire life. I feel like I've been asleep for a long time.

To be honest I never knew what this game was about until this article. Looks like I'm okay tho. Maybe I'll pick this game up on the cheap. Thanks Mikel

@Mr. Rapearse: You're right, we pussies don't know how to figt. It's quite difficult, ye understand. Figt-ing is a demanding, arduous task, one that should not be taken lightly. To figt, one must be trained in body and mind, focused and prepared for anything, else the figt will lead you into the depths of madness. Also, figs are delicious.

Geez, for a moment there I was really afraid you'd pull another "Alan Wake is better than Silent Hill 2". But what I'm still afraid of is how Fallout New Vegas will turn out, now that Obsidian have so evidently screwed up.

I'm also disappointed, but I wouldn't worry about Fallout. Bethesda will have their eye on that, and, as crumbdunky mentioned, there was that Obsidian developer (who *seemed* legit) that made it pretty clear that the whole project was horribly managed and that Sega was making some retarded demands. Kind of upsetting, I really wanted this game to be awesome.

I was also rooting for this one, I love RPGs and Spy stuff, and this one was supposed to come out in Oct but got delayed. I'm crushed that it's mediocre.
  • AFTERLIFEJOSH - June 1, 2010 7:38 p.m.

I was hoping that this game would turn out good, but it seems its only alright. Might get this when its really cheap. Hopefully this isn't a sign that Fallout:NV isn't going to be great.

Oh dear-the game which, allegedly, shouldn't have been made according to an "insider" garners another so-so seven in it's ongoing struggle towards complete "meh"-ness. ME and ME2 have shown the importance of getting your base shooting JUST so and to go wrong there and make some other missteps with bloody minigames shows a lack of care bordering on idiocy. A shame. The thing is a game like this(wrpg) insists you put a LONG time into it so t isn't like it's even a good rental choice. For me a game I'm putting, like, 60 hours into needs to be REALLY good to make the investment worthwhile and even the cheapness of the bargain bin or LoveFilm can't cover that up or compensate for the quality not matching the time needed. I've suffered enough at the hands of average jrpgs this generation without the curse of the average wrpg joining the fray. I'm wondering if that's why the "insider" thought it should have been canned a long way back-because a so-so wrpg has little chance of breaking even even through the bargain bin. After feeling the post 25hour pay off wasn't worth the initial tutorial(of gargantuan proportions)slog in FF13 I'm just not ready to buy AP and allot the time needed to get much out of it-and I really wanted to be.
