It's a huge year for XBOX Game Pass, and it's only getting better and better.
The XBOX and PC gaming subscription just got even better value for money, combining a huge range of awesome titles to play right now, from the award-winning RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 or indies like TCG Card Shop Simulator, with day one drops for massive Xbox games.
We've just had Forza Horizon 6 screech onto XBOX Game Pass, and we've still got Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Gears of War: E-Day all due to drop later this year on day one.
But, depending on how you like to play, what you're looking for, and what your budget is, there's an XBOX Game Pass subscription for you. Tiers start at just £6.99 / $9.99 per month with Essential, but there's also Premium, Ultimate and PC Game Pass too.
Essential provides an excellent entry point into the world of XBOX Game Pass, offering you 50 games, including DayZ and Warhammer: Vermintide 2. Play games across XBOX consoles, PC, and supported handheld devices. You also unlock access to unlimited cloud gaming, meaning you can play games without even having to download them. Just stream them straight to your device.
Essential also includes online console multiplayer, special member benefits for games like League of Legends and Call of Duty: Warzone, and it's only £6.99 / $9.99 per month.
Then you've got XBOX Game Pass Premium. For £10.99 / $14.99 per month, you'll get everything included in Essential, plus the library is expanded to over 200 games to play across your favorite devices. You'll also get select XBOX-published games added to your library within just 12 months of their release date, like DOOM: The Dark Ages and The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered.
Then there's Ultimate - and it really does live up to the name. For a starter, the game library is cranked up to a whopping 400+ games that you can play right now, and it also bundles in Fortnite Crew, EA Play, and Ubisoft+ Classics, which is so many great games that you can have at your fingers at once.
But, Ultimate also gets you day one access to select new XBOX first-party games, and third-party games. This year, we've already had Subnautica 2, Mixtape, Outbound, and Forza Horizon 6 join the Ultimate roster, with games like Beast of Reincarnation, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, and Minecraft Dungeons 2 all arriving on day one for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
Ultimate is £16.99 or $22.99 a month, and also includes everything from the Premium and Essential tiers. Magic.
If you're a PC gamer only, there's also an XBOX Game Pass offering for you. For £10.99 or $13.99 a month, PC Game Pass gives you access to 300+ games on PC, with new XBOX-published games, excluding Call of Duty, dropping on day one. That’s alongside EA Play, and in-game benefits for League of Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Rainbow Six Siege!
