Kojima drops details on Portable Ops expansion
New game modes, characters, missions and gameplay for the PSP title
He might have announced his retirement from Metal Gear Solid after four is finally done at E3 last week, but Hideo Kojima's not finished just yet and continues to make new series announcements.
Present at the PlayStation Premier event in Tokyo, Kojima revealed that Metal Gear Solid Online is in the pipeline for PS3 and then let slip that an expansion for PSP title Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops is coming.
The expansion's reportedly named Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus and so far it's been revealed that it'll contain new game modes, characters, missions, gameplay and a tutorial section for n00bs.
Portable Ops Plus has only been confirmed for Japan so far where it'll hit in September. As soon as we get word on plans for it coming over here, we'll let you know.
