Is it a bird? Is it a blue smudge?
No! It's a very small Superman
Electronic Arts has unveiled a single supershot of Superman Returns, the superhero action gamebased onthe Man of Steel's return to the big screen.
The film Superman Returns is being directed by Bryan Singer, who did a superb job of bringing the X-Men to the big screen. The story sees Superman returning from self-imposed exile to find that Lois Lane, the love of his life, has moved on, while old foe Lex Luthor is up to his old Metropolis-threatening tricks.
EA Tiburon - responsible for the Madden and NASCAR games- is developing the game, and aims to give gamers the rush of being in possession of Superman's speed and power as he defends his adopted home from attack.
And as Superman is the most powerful man in the universe, EA has found a suitable opponent to challenge him: a skyscraper-tall robot with a skull for a face and a rocket launcher for an arm. That blue speck just above the killer bot's elbow is Superman.
