Horror Channel may be synonymous with horror film and TV, but there's a ton of great genre television and movies programing you'll want to tune into. Whether you're a fan of sci-fi, thriller, fantasy, or disaster films and television series, Horror Channel can provide exactly what you're looking for.

Of course, there's a wide variety of excellent horror programming on Horror Channel, but the amount of excellent sci-fi TV and films you can catch on the network are impressive. You want Star Trek? How about both the original series and Star Trek: The Next Generation, which air weekdays throughout November. Kick off your shoes after a long day of work and settle in to explore a new galaxy from the comfort of your couch - there's even Andromeda and Captain Dylan Hunt to guide you on your travels.

You might even want to watch a great sci-fi film like Serenity or John Carpenter’s Ghost of Mars this month. They're both on Horror Channel, too.

Perhaps you’re in the mood for a more psychological thriller? Don’t worry, Horror Channel will provide. November will bring showings of films like Mindhunter, Lakeview Terrace, and more.

There’s a ton of great genre TV and film content for you to enjoy throughout November. Whatever mood you’re in, Horror Channel has you covered. Here is what you can catch this month:

The Sci-Fi Zone, throughout November, from 18:00 to 21:00:

Star Trek - The Original Series @ 18:00
Climb aboard the Starship Enterprise along with captain James Tiberius Kirk and explore the galaxy alongside him and his colorful crew. They'll head on incredible adventures, fighting off evil forces and learning more about the galaxy and themselves along the way.

Star Trek: The Next Generation @ 19:00
Hang out with Captain Jean-Luc Picard aboard the Starship Enterprise every weeknight for an hour as him and his team explore the Milky Way galaxy. Space may be the final frontier, but you've got a front row seat for its exploration in one of the best sci-fi series of all time.

Andromeda @ 20:00
Round out a night's worth of sci-fi billing with Andromeda and the ship's captain Dylan Hunt, both of whom have been frozen in time for 300 years (oh, and the crew, too). Hunt decides to help rebuild what collapsed during a war that ended while he remained stuck in time.

Here are all the thrillers and sci-fi films you'll be able to catch on Horror Channel in November, with details on when exactly to tune in. You won't want to miss these.

The Arrival

Tremors - 12 November @ 21:00
Tremors is a horror comedy starring Kevin Bacon where two Nevada repairmen try to leave their boring town. Unfortunately, they stumble right into a dead body, then another dead body, and realize that underground creatures are killing people.

The 6th Day - 17 November @ 21:00
You can't have sci-fi without Schwarzenegger. The 6th Day tells the story of a kind family man (Schwarzenegger) who is illegally cloned on accident as part of a conspiracy theory. He comes home one day to find his clone has replaced him, and plunges himself into a dark criminal underworld to figure out what the hell is going on and save himself.

The Arrival - 20 November @ 21:00
A radio astronomer (Charlie Sheen) discovers an extraterrestrial radio station emitting from a star that's light years away from Earth. When he's fired because of his findings, he creates his own telescope array in his backyard and starts working on unearthing the alien mystery.

Serenity - 26 November @ 21:00
An absolute must-watch for fans of the sci-fi series, Firefly, Serenity is the film that finishes the story. Joss Whedon's final tale about the crew of Serenity sees the ragtag bunch travel to the outskirts of space and take on two interesting new members, one of which is wanted by the Alliance, a dangerous organization that rules much of the universe. It's a classic.

Red State - 29 November @ 21:00
Kevin Smith directs this indie horror-thriller about a group of teenagers who meet a woman for group sex. They end up in the clutches of an evil preacher who holds them captive in his compound, forcing them to witness horrific executions. It's brash and intense, so expect a wild ride.

Ultraviolet - 29 November @ 22:55
Milla Jovovich plays Violet, a super-lethal, genetically mutated warrior who goes rogue to protect her fellow mutated people, all of which were infected by a virus. The government wants to destroy all of those with mutations, but Violet wants revenge for those who created her new race. Equal parts colorful and action-packed, Ultraviolet will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Here's where to tune into Horror Channel for all your genre needs this November:

  • Sky Channel - 317
  • Virgin - 148
  • Freeview - 70
  • Freesat - 138

As you can see, Horror Channel is not just for horror content. There’s plenty of great genre TV to be had, whether it’s a fantastical escape or a traditional horror scare, they’ve got something for everyone.
