Actor-turned-director Guillaume Canet confidently transposes Harlan Coben’s crime novel from New Jersey to contemporary Paris. Eight years after the murder of his wife Margot (Marie-Josee Croze), paediatrician Alex Beck (Francois Cluzet) becomes prime suspect when two more bodies are found at the original crime scene.
