IS this a prequel, showing Dante's youth and how he becomes OUR Dante, or IS this a completely separate universe, with a different Dante and Vergil who AREn"t related to the others at all? Anyway, the tutorial sections sounds absolutely brilliant. Far better than the usual crap you get in tutorials, where trained professionals are walked through the most basic actions for no readily apparent reason. So that's one thing I'm thanking Ninja Theory for. One thing I'm NOT thanking them for is the soundtrack. I happen to LIKE Cheesy looped Industrial Metal.

      So this article praises everything in DMC that the original Devil May Cry is not? The writer thinks the "They Live" story, overbearing (obnoxious) Donte, and combichrist type music in a game is original? It's been done before. There's nothing "original" or innovative about that. Did the author even play the original Devil May Cry games? Does he realize that there's been four installments, special editions and HD collections, yet it's supposedly inferior to this new DMC, a game that hasn't even come out yet? You take a crap on everything that made Devil My Cry great (style, charm, fun, cheesiness) and expect people to just be pleased with something completely different, something that does not make Devil May Cry what it's suppose to be. There's something very fishy about this article.

      Played and beat all of them. Accessibility - DmC Draw for MGR and GOW, Maybe you could say GOW wins but only because it's so shallow. Depth of combat - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance then DMC and far behind GOW. Visuals - God of War: Ascension, next comes DMC and then MGR. Gameplay variety - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, draw for GOW and DMC. Overall best, Metal Gear Rising, then DMC and far behind GOW.

      I'm getting less worried about this now. I was worried at first that it wasn't going to be as 'scary' as old ones, but it definitely seems like it will be, although for different reasons.       One of the big factors that helped make the protagonist in the first Dead Space so interesting and likeable was his every-man quality. He was just some working class shlub thrown into a horrifying situation without any combat experience or know-how. He fought with his tools and whatever was laying around the ship. His own personal narrative was compelling. He was slow moving and clumsy, not because of poorly implemented controls or a half-baked combat engine, but because if you were the ships engineer skulking around the depths of some restricted access maintenance bay in a massive protective suit you probably wouldn't jump around into and out of cover like a cop in a John Woo movie. Whatever. Another one bites the dust.

      Great preview. I got some hands on time with this at the proving grounds community session earlier this month. Such a well made fighter and ludicrously fast and eay to play. I love BlazBlue, but this feels so much more refined with less emphasis on crazy-hard execution and more on the fun and strategy of a good fight. Easily the fighter I'm most excited about right now. Am interested to see what the story is like too - hope its got a big single player like blazblue. Anyone know what the net code is supposed to be like?
