Prince of Persia (next-gen) Discussion

I for one see why 1hndman thinks this game "frekin" sucks. It is filled with puzzles that require an IQ of at least .000001 and he clearly does not possess such intellect. i can tell by the fact that he seems to think relese is a word and the "light orbs" (light seeds)are useful. If you had beaten the game you would know that, and by the way, back off Ubisoft i think there better games (Assassin's Creed series, Myst series, etc.) prove that they know what they are doing.

I guess if you REALLY like achievement icons then, yeah, stay away from this game. If you like GAMING however, this game is fantastic. But, like all games it has a few flaws. First, the boss battles are somewhat linear and redundant, but the achievements challenge you to change up the fights. Also, the controls are easy to use, but at times they're EXTREMELY frustrating. You'll more than likely find yourself cursing the game when you try to do something as simple as a wall-run and end up jumping to your doom. On the other hand, the positives are staggering. The visual style of this game is absolutely gorgeous and the way it flows with the style of gameplay is essentialy flawless. The landscapes are magnificent and intrueging and the addition of Elika is great for both the story and the gameplay. I agree with the rating of 8/10, it is short, rent or borrow it if you cant get it cheap, but it's an amzing game that boldly strays from it's predecesors, but in all the right ways.

I have been continously disappointed in Price of Persia games. To me the best was the first one and each one has gotten progressively worse. The ability to control time was what I liked best. It would have been better if Ubisoft had remade the first game with Nex Gen graphics. I was also disappointed with the achievment icons. They all look the same.

This game frekin sucks. I just beat it and i have decided, it blows. The previous ones were way better. The plot sucks. u don't get new weapons. the battles are retarded, you only fight one dude at a time. All you do the whole game is run around trying to find them stupid "light orbs" only to beat the game finding that all those light things were completely worthless. she dies you relese the "darkness" again then it sets up for a sequel. ubisoft completly failed me. i wont be playing another one of their games for awhile. in fact splinter cell was the only game they truly did "good" on. I'll just wait for God of War 3.
