The Sims 3

What EA has done is create a platform for a new generation of expansion packs and downloadable content. If you already have expansion packs for Sims 2 that add seasons, pets and witches, the basic Sims 3 feels like a step back. Yet the core of The Sims 3 is more powerful than ever.

If the window isn't popping up after pressing Ctrl+Shift+C , then the problem is probably your computer. I had a Vista before and the cheats wouldn't pop up either. Hope it helped. :)

also I don't really understand why the "disablesnappingtoslotsonalt" should be a cheat anyway, imo it should just be part of the game, it's great lolz

I would like to point out that the free cop car cheat works on any law enforcement job selected at lieutenant level or above so you don't have to become a spy. Also if the mailbox cheat isn't working, you have to type in "testingcheatsenabled true" from the MAIN MENU, before you load your game!

Age-specific content gives kids and adults more stuff to do
Apr 06, 2011

It looks like Late Night is going to rock, so we were very pleased to have a chance to speak with Melanie Lam, associate producer for The Sims 3: Late Night to find out more about the new Band career in the upcoming expansion. Find Find out why Late Night will be all about the music - if you want it to be - and learn all the ins and outs of how the new Band career will work… » Read Full The Sims 3 preview
EXCLUSIVE: What it’s like to be a celebrity in The Sims 3: Late Night
An in-depth look at the lifestyles of the rich and famous
Sep 15, 2010
Above: Find out how to deal with the paparazzi as we gossip about the lifestyles of the rich and famous in The Sims 3: Late Night The Sims 3 Late Night is the biggest and most ambitious expansion for series since Ambitions. EA’s Sims team has gone vertical, replacing the suburban flatlands of the original with a city full of towering skyscrapers, packed with penthouses and chic roof top nightclubs. But at the same time, The Sims team is also going back to the roots of the series as a life simulator in Late Night, adding a ton of new ways to approach the night, including a celebrity system, three new instrument skills that combine to form a band, the mixology skill and plasma sucking creatures of the night. GamesRadar recently got a chance to speak with Grant Rodiek, associate producer for The Sims 3 Late Night to find out more about the new celebrity system. Find out what it’s like to be rich and famous and how the new career will change how you play The Sims 3… » Read Full The Sims 3 preview

New professions make it easier than ever to ignore your real responsibilities for your virtual ones
May 10, 2010
In The Sims 3, our kitchen is sparkling, our bills have all been paid, and our virtual self is up for a promotion at the local hospital. Meanwhile, in the real world, our dishes are dirty, the bills are piling up and we kind of smell. It’s funny how we find ourselves compelled to do for our Sims what we’re too lazy to take care of in the real world – and from the looks of things, our obsession with The Sims is only going to get worse when Ambitions, the latest expansion for The Sims 3, releases later this year…   » Read Full The Sims 3 preview

How do you go about improving a game that’s become, at well over 100,000,000 copies sold, the best-selling PC game franchise of all time? EA Black Box, I’m guessing, began with another question: Why didn’t the other six and a half billion people in the world buy it? » Read Full The Sims 3 preview

The next version of the rather big little-people program
Apr 21, 2008
The Sims 3 development team are apparently taking tips from the forthcoming opus Spore, and are promising more features to appeal to so-called hardcore gamers. The first of these new additions will be a more open, seamless world for your Sims to inhabit. Rather than being trapped in a pit of your own virtual filth, with only a few token public areas (shops, parks and the like), you’ll now be able to wander across the lawn and have a » Read Full The Sims 3 preview
