This week we had another chance to see the upcoming Hitman sequel in motion. While our reactions to Hitman: Absolution’s most recent demo were mixed, we’re still intrigued by any new media we get for the game. In this case, we got a nice pile of new screenshots to accompany the preview. Check them out.

Though we haven’t seen this area in the game yet, we feel safe in assuming that at some point in the story Agent 47 begins to regret his lifestyle and in repentance joins the clergy. That’s the most logical explanation for those screens, right? Also, in case you missed it last month, here’s the most recent trailer for Absolution. Enjoy!

The original silent "assassin" Agent 47 is back! (soon)

He goes back to religion all the time. He LOVES almost converting then killing a while bunch of people.

47 already tried religion. It didn't work. I thought they mentioned at some point that linear missions would only be major setpieces, but I don't think we've seen any "traditional" missions like the ones in Blood Money.

The only one I've ever really played is Blood Money, are the others not as 'open'? Anyway, I'll still buy the game, regardless, but if they ARE awfully linear, I might be a little annoyed, although it would be a nice change of pace.
