hese are all the cars I have been able to find and how I got them:
SLY JOKER: Beat Pawn, Knight, AND Bishop tracks on STANDARD difficulty
STINGRAY: Beat Pawn, Knight, AND Bishop tracks on EXPERT difficulty
SILVER THUNDER: Beat Queen tracks on EXPERT difficulty
FALCON MK-II: Beat Pawn OR Knight OR Bishop tracks on MASTER difficulty
FIGHTING COMET: Beat Pawn AND Knight AND Bishop AND Queen tracks on MASTER difficulty
JET VERMILION: Unlock all other cars, then complete CHAMPIONSHIP mode 255 times OR complete each MASTER level race for Pawn, Knight, Bishop, AND Queen tracks with EACH racer OR use the following password:
Create the name "YAZOO JR" (with the space)
Press L+R+Start+R+L+Select while in the machine select screen
Type in the following code: 2-8+08T2YQ30

The Top Secret "Jet Vermillion" Code For Other Names
1. Go to www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/afzj/vermil/index.htm 2. Right click on the page (click yes to the "Warning" message and get rid of a big window that appears),Then Right-Click, select "Encoding", then select "Western European (windows)" 3.Go to the bottom of the page, where you will be presented with a keypad. 4.type in the name of your file in the window using the keypad. 5. there are three buttons under the keypad, click the one to the extreme right. 6. Wait for the page to load, there will be a password at the top of the page printed in white. Enter this passcode in the passcode screen.(press Left Trigger, Right Trigger,start, Right Trigger, Left Trigger, Select At the "Machine Select Screen" to open the passcode screen.)

FALCON MK-II: Beat Pawn OR Knight OR Bishop tracks on Expert difficulty.
FIGHTING COMET: Beat the Pawn, Knight, Bishop and Queen tracks on Master difficulty.
SILVER THUNDER: Beat the Queen track on the Expert difficulty.
STINGRAY: Beat the Pawn, Knight and Bishop tracks on the Expert difficulty.
JET VERMILION: Unlock all other cars, then complete Championship mode 255 times. OR complete each series on Master Class with each of the racers OR use your password.

Boost cheat
At the start of the race when you are getting ready to go. On the third flash of the third READY sign press and hold the acceleration button and you will get a boost at the start.
