Black Ops 2 demoed on Jimmy Fallon, shows sandbox missions

Painfully awkward

Apparently the folks at Activision and NBC still haven't learned the lesson that most gamers figured out when they were twelve years old: video games aren't fun to watch. So the audience at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon had to sit through a rather awkward (but still informative if you know anything about Blops 2.)

Gaze in horror as Jimmy Fallon pretends to know what's going on, and then tries in vain to pilot an aerial drone on-stage.

Pretty horrendous, right? It's all the boredom of not being able to actually play the game, mixed with the gut-wrenching frustration of watching someone fumble the controls. Nevertheless, it is a good look at Black Ops 2, and we definitely salute Fallon/NBC for including big game launches on their program. We just wish they'd go with a trailer next time.

@DizZeLegend, just like Unreal Engine, the Source engine has had many updates since it debuted with Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Comparing Source on the PC to CoD on Consoles is invalid.

I've heard a whole lot of complaints about bullet holes and sounds of hitting stuff. I dunno, I don't see those kinds of things.

The graphics are fine so shut up with your elitist bull-sh*t. I stopped playing CoD after MW2 because after i played it I saw where the franchise was going, nowhere. They will keep making the same game and give it a new coat of whore paint. I'm glad people enjoy these but getting to the highest rank and all the unlocks is a waste of time especially if your just going to use the same gun you started out with. Another thing is that i hate it when i try to connect with a women who says shes a gamer then just tells me she plays CoD all the time all i can do is walk away, its retarded. speaking of retarded do any of you really like listening to prepubescent noobs who's only way of being better then you is because they don't have jobs or girlfriends to attend to? Stop supporting this game and for the love of science stop posting your sh*tty game play on YouTube its no different then 500,000 other videos of the same guy screaming at the top of his lungs because he sucks so bad he cant admit it. And don't start spamming me I have better thing to do then read about how this loooong rant got your panties in a bunch. Cheers!

Funny, if you do not like COD, then what brought you to this video other than the fact that you needed to troll/runt? If you do so then you definitely should expect spamming. Anyway I wont argue because I came to see how opinions may vary. I hate fifa, but a large number of people play the game.. same as Mario....

Well that's understandable id rather play a sport then play a game of it. and yeah Mario does get repetitive so i guess i cant make any exceptions for that. Also its the fact that i hate talk show hosts who try to like my things, its embarrassing.

This game looks pure crap, made like that obviously to run on those old consoles. The graphics and textures offend my eyes... COD has been a crap PC game and will always be a crap game series.

Seriously grow the fuck up and stop complaining about the graphics in the COD franchise. Look at the the Source engine in Valve games, they have been using that for YEARS and making millions off the Portal and L4D series and no one complains. You should be astonished how they didn't go back to world war two. Plus the whole sandbox story and different outcomes is a revolution in the series breaking off the whole linear experience. Hell there turning zombies into even more of a mode then it was in the first black ops (shows there listing to the community). Liking a game purely on graphics is like liking a women for her cloths and nothing else.

You just contradicted yourself. They wont buy it since it is expensive, but will go through all the trouble and effort and time just to download the thing, illegaly, so as to play the single player campaign alone, not even the online multiplayer since pirated games are not authenincated. NOw how would they do all this for a game they hate? I hate fifa, I have come into contact with pirated versions of the PS3 fifa, but not given a shit of mental thought about getting my console to get it. Point is, many people like COD, and it is not a shitty PC game, unless you suck at it that is

they dont hate it because it sucks, because call of duty and its sequels arent bad games. COD games just dont change and wont stop coming out. they probably wonder if its different this year around after hearing good things about it, download it, play it for a bit, see that its the same then uninstall it. But I don't really know thats just my theory on the life of a PC gamer lol

The gameplay looks good to me (in other videos I've seen, not this one obviously) even though the graphics look a bit dated compared to likes of BF3. The gameplay looks better than MW2 and 3.
