Tactical FPS Ready or Not, which puts players behind the sights of an elite SWAT team, has a new DLC installment tasking players with maintaining order in a city on the edge.
Boiling Point, which was unveiled during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase powered by HyperX, brings Ready or not back to Los Sueños. Already dangerously close to losing its way thanks to a massive surge in violent crime, a terror attack plunges the city into disarray, threatening to cripple its languishing an increasingly militarized government.
Across three new DLC missions that symbolize Los Sueños' cascading decay, you'll be tasked with trying to maintain some semblance of order. A chemical attack at a community event based on the once-resplendent Los Sueños pier sends the city into panic in 'No Good Deed'. That panic sparks rioting across the city, and in 'All Gods Burn', you'll be tasked with containing a demonstration at the Banc of Los Sueños, while also attempting to prevent a robbery. And as the chaos begins to coalesce across the city, 'A New America' addresses protests aimed directly at the politicians hunkered down in City Hall.
Ready or Not: Boiling Point is available now across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store as a standalone purchase for $9.99 / €9.99, and is also available at no extra cost for owners of the Deluxe Edition or Mission Pass. As long as one member of your party owns the DLC, you'll be able to take part on Boiling Point missions without owning the expansion yourself - but if you do head back to Los Sueños, as well as the three new missions, the DLC offers exclusive cosmetics, including six different pieces of headgear and the Chameleon Boots footwear.
Players who complete Boiling Point will also have access to two exclusive tattoos and two exclusive cosmetic items. This third DLC dials up the heat on an already-exciting tactical shooter, giving you one more chance to save the soul of Los Sueños.
