Clean Up Earth is a cozy, casual multiplayer game set in beautiful environments - or at least it will be, once you've got all this junk cleared up!
As shown off in its new trailer at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase powered by HyperX, Clean Up Earth is a restoration game with an ecological spin. Placed into once-beautiful landscapes - either on your own, with a team of up to eight friends, or with up to 25 environmental allies in online multiplayer - it's your job to hoover up the waste and return the world to its former beauty.
To do that, you'll make use of your modular Terra Cleaner, hoovering up rubbish, recycling materials you find, and rebuilding collapsed structures. And with every bit of trash you collect, you'll begin to see the impact on the environment, as plants grow back, wildlife returns, and the beauty of these landscapes is restored. As that happens, you'll start to unlock the story of Clean Up Earth, uncovering the echoes of the civilizations that were here before you.
But you'll have your work cut out for you. Clean Up Earth is designed for some big multiplayer sessions, which means that its expansive maps are home to huge amounts of waste and some pretty massive rebuilding projects. It'll be worth it though - not only is Clean Up Earth an excellent hangout spot and a rewarding, relaxing gameplay experience, but it also has real-world impact. You can select a partner organization to represent in-game, and help meet community goals that trigger real micro-donations to those good causes, all at no extra cost.
Clean Up Earth is set to release on April 2 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC via Steam, where you can not only wishlist it ahead of launch, but also enjoy the demo and start cleaning up the planet for yourself.
