Killer is Dead hitting U.S. and Europe in summer

Killer is Dead, the latest from self-styled punk developer Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture, will make its way to North America and Europe. Xseed today announced it will bring the stylized, hyperviolent thriller to American shores, along with several other Japanese games planned for this year, and Dead Island publisher Deep Silver will distribute Killer is Dead across the pond.

Killer is Dead is planned to hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer--Grasshopper Manufacture's recent acquisition by Japanese Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment won't affect its release. You can check out its (Japanese) debut trailer for more love and execution.

JRPG fans will likely be pleased by the rest of Xseed's 2013 lineup: Ys I & II Chronicles+ will appear on Steam in February, farming-and-fighting RPG Rune Factory 4 for Nintendo 3DS will hit this summer, Valhalla Knights 3 and Ys: Memories of Celceta will bolster PS Vita's library in fall.

Good to see the localization house/publisher that was so kind us to bring us 'muricans The Last Story is keeping busy.

Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo.
