Animal Crossing, New Super Mario Bros 2 3DS XL special editions revealed for Japan

Nintendo has revealed Animal Crossing and New Super Mario Bros 2 3DS XL special editions for Japan. They will launch 8 November and 15 November respectively, each at a price of 22,800 yen (£180/$291). The games are installed on a 4GB SD card.

A new all-black 3DS XL has also been revealed. It will launch 1 November at a price of 18,900 yen (£150/$242).

The new versions were revealed by Nintendo in its latest Nintendo Direct update. A Monster Hunter 3G bundle was also announced. You can watch the full Nintendo Direct update here:

Nintendo hasn’t announced whether any of these 3DS XL editions and bundles will be available in US or UK.

    So 22,800 yen... How does that translate into bells? Seriously though, this looks awesome. I wouldn't buy one of these now, as I already have a fully functional 3DS, but I'm super excited for the game to come out. (I just wish it would come out sooner)

    Damnit, that Animal Crossing one does look amazing. And NEW 3DS XL is now just £150? I almost wish I hadn't bought my (pre-owned) Standard 3DS like, two months ago. Almost.
