Winter may come with some unpleasant weather, but it also has a gift for gamers with the extra downtime around the holidays. While we might not be around our gaming PCs spending time with family, NVIDIA GeForce NOW makes it easy for us to game on, even when we’re away from our rig. These are the games we’re going to dive into over winter break with NVIDIA GeForce NOW.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

We’ve already sunk tons of hours into Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but there’s always more to explore, more enemies to challenge us, and new content to dive into. The latest update to the game just introduced new difficulty settings and the crossover story with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that we’ve got to try out. We can’t forget the seasonal Yule Festival either. And, with NVIDIA GeForce NOW, we won’t have to wait for the large update to download and install, as NVIDIA handles all of that on its servers.

Untitled Goose Game

When we’re spending time with the family over our break, we won’t always be gaming alone. Having a fun, family-friendly game with simple controls is a must, and there are few better options than Untitled Goose Game. There’s not much more wholesome fun than playing as a goose bewildering a small town with its fowl antics, and the couch co-op of the game makes for a fantastic shared experience with family. Also, it’s really, really, really funny.

Hades

Cyberpunk 2077

We sometimes find ourselves returning to Cyberpunk 2077 just to appreciate the graphics. This game is a true beauty to behold, and with the recent addition of NVIDIA GeForce NOW’s RTX 3080 tier, we can really crank up the settings in the game. Night City and its neon luster never looked as good as it does with ray-tracing on.

Dying Light

Dying Light may be way back in the rearview mirror, but the delays of the launch of Dying Light 2 have left us itching for more zombie parkour action. This winter break is a great time to step back into the game and re-familiarize ourselves with the world, story, and movement mechanics so we can hit the ground running (literally, from zombies) when the sequel launches in February. With GeForce NOW’s support of 120FPS gameplay on the RTX 3080 Membership, all that parkour is going to feel extra smooth.

These are just a few of the games we’re going to be playing over our winter vacation, and there are plenty more options available through GeForce NOW. New games are always getting announced on the GFN Thursday Blog
