The design of Wii's controller may not yet be final, according to a comment from Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo legend and everyone's honorary uncle.
"We're still debating on the area of how many buttons to use," Miyamoto told Japanese gaming mag Famitsu. It may sound crazy to suggest the possibility of a modification of the Wii-mote after it's already been introduced so successfully to the worldwide gaming community, but remember - it's just the number of buttons, and it's just a debate.
But it's not as if Nintendo doesn't have a track record for dropping bombshells on a completely unexpecting fan base - remember when we all thought, not too long ago, that its next console was going to be called Revolution? Exactly.
