True Blood casting news; Dirk Gently trailer; Conan renamed; Clark Kent in Green Lantern still a possibility…
Conan Back To Being A Barbarian
Lionsgate has changed the title of Conan 3D , the Marcus Nispel-directed sword and sorcery flick based on the pulp novels of Robert E Howard, to Conan the Barbarian . No news on whether this means the film won’t actually be afflicted with 3D as well, but we somehow doubt it. The film stars Jason Momoa, Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Bob Sapp, Leo Howard, Ron Perlman, Said Taghmaoui and Rose McGowan and is due out late summer next year.
True Blood Season Four Casting News
How many more new recurring characters can they introduce? Spoiler alert, obviously…Christina Moore ( MADtv , That ’70s Show , 90210 ) is set to join the season four of True Blood as Suzanne McKittrick, a Texas housewife with special abilities, reports Deadline . Also landing multi-episode arcs on the next season will be Neil Hopkins (Charlie’s brother Liam on Lost ) as Claude, and Chris Butler ( The Good Wife ) as Emory, a “prissy and conservative shapeshifter with his own agenda”.

Writer Still Wants Clark Kent Cameo In Green Lantern To Happen
Co-writer of the Green Lantern movie Marc Guggenheim discusses the now-infamously cut Superman cameo on MTV’s Splash Page . “Without trying very hard, you could probably find the leaked script on the internet. The Superman cameo is in the leaked script. It survived several drafts. Ultimately, it was cut for budgetary reasons. We took it out in one of our later drafts. The Clark Kent cameo is still near and dear to my heart. I really wanted it to be in the movie. You never know — it can still happen. If Tom Welling has a free hour or two, you never know.”
Doctor Who Eggheads
There’s going to be a Doctor Who team on BBC2 quiz show Eggheads on Monday 20 December, reports Doctor Who Online . The all-classic-series team will comprise Colin Baker (The Doctor), Frazer Hines (Jamie), Louise Jameson (Leela), Katy Manning (Jo) and John Leeson (Voice of K9). Any prize money will go to charity (but does anyone ever win money on that show?).
