Rock of Ages video – Full Access Preview

Rock of Ages is game that was slightly beneath our radar, so if you’re anything like us, we should definitely stipulate that this game has NOTHING to do with novelty plastic instruments. This is “Rock” at its most literal, as in, a playable boulder, which you’ll upgrade and control through sloped levels of strategic warfare at its most charming. Best of all, the whole shebang’s humorously presented like a Classical Civilizations lesson taught via Terry Gilliam animation.

Atlus’ own Aram Jabbari walks us through this quirky take on the Tower Defense genre, which combines the seemingly serious act of strategic battle placement with the free-rollin’ feelgoodery of Marble Madness and/or Monkey Ball. Rock of Ages will be available digitally on 360, PS3 and PC sometime in the 2nd Quarter of 2011.
