Dancing Into Arcana
After remaking legwarmer-fest Fame, choreographer-turned director Kevin Tancharoen will be turning his attention to SF for his next movie, reports Moviehole.com . “Arcana is a unique blend of the graphic-novel backdrop – like Blade Runner”, says Tancharoean, “and shot like 300, and has a little bit of Warriors mixed in there, with a little bit of martial arts, so it’s got a lot of crazy elements in there. It’s going to be really cool. We’re writing it right now actually – a guy named John Ridley is writing it; I’m very happy we got him.” Ridley has recently finished the script for George Lucas’s long cherished war project Red Tails.
True Blood Does It Again
Every week now HBO issues a press release stating how the latest episode of True Blood in the States has hit a new series high viewing figure. This week it not only topped the previous week's figure – 4.5 million – but sailed past it, with initial viewing figures of 5.3 million, according to Variety .
Twilight 3 Filming Underway
According to a tweet by Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade, filming is already underway on the third Twilight movie.
