VR tech demo makes playing with blocks, like, just so frickin' cool

This tech demo for Leap Motion Orion starts off by asking you to give a polygonal frog thing a thumbs up, and it just gets better from there. Appropriately titled Blocks, it uses the latest hand-tracking tech and a VR headset to recreate a beloved childhood pastime with tantalizing fidelity. Also to turn off gravity, which I don't recall being able to do when I was a toddler.

Listen, I don't know why the concept of rigging up expensive hardware so I can play with blocks in a computer world is so much more appealing than just playing with a stack of wood IRL. It's probably because you can throw them around without breaking any windows or scaring your cat. In any case, sign me up.
