If you haven't already got your tickets for this year's Kapow! convention, there's even more reason to do so now, because we at Total Film have teamed up with the organisers to host our own stage, in conjunction with sister mags SFX and Comic Heroes .
We'll be conducting live interviews with various big names throughout the weekend, as well as holding exclusive giveaways and competitions, including the always popular Cosplay contest.
This year's Kapow! will be something of a milestone event in that it will be the first UK convention attended by both Marvel and DC in nearly 20 years. Excitingly, Marvel's Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada will be making a rare appearance, as will DC co-publisher Dan DiDio.
Other events currently confirmed include Jimmy Carr interviewing Frankie Boyle live about his love of geek culture, Lucha Britannia wrestling, the chance to win a day editing 2000AD , and a special DC panel to discuss upcoming Watchmen prequel series, Before Watchmen .
