Toby Hadoke announced for SFX Weekender

We’ve announced TV stars like John Barrowman and James Marsters , comics legends like Mark Millar and top authors like China Miéville, Robert Rankin and Joe Abercrombie . Now we’re happy to reveal that our upcoming, one-of-a-kind SFX Weekender has its very own stand-up comedian, in the form of Toby Hadoke, who’ll be bringing along his brilliant Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf one-man show.

If you’ve heard the radio version of the self-confessed Doctor Who addict’s Moths... you’ll know what to expect – and we can say from experience that his brilliantly told, sometimes-hilarious, sometimes-touching tale of growing up with the Time Lord is even better live. As well as being seriously funny, Toby knows his Who stuff – he’s featured on the commentary tracks for several classic series DVDs – so you’ll probably pick up some trivia between the gags.

When he’s not being a professional Who fan, Toby is the compere at top Manchester comedy venue XS Malarkey, and is a regular at The Comedy Store as part of the Unbroadcastable Radio Show team. He’s also a proper actor!
