There's no better way to soak up the excitement for this year's enormous Star Wars releases on big screen and gaming machine by getting your Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pre-order completed before its release this Friday, 15 November 2019. It's an enormous year for the galaxy far, far away thanks to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the imminent lightsaber-waving adventure coming to our gaming systems so to put you on the right track, we've got a rundown of all the pre-order editions here.
Set between Episodes 3 and 4, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the tale of how a young Padawan struggles to escape the Empire post-Order 66. Because he's the plucky protagonist, his luck is basically non-existent, so our hero is also being pursued by the Inquisitors – hand-picked goons of Darth Vader whose sole purpose is to hunt down Force-users. With this gripping movie-like story, tense third-person lightsaber combat that's similar to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and a Metroidvania-style approach to its world, Fallen Order is looking pretty special. Game of the Year-contender special. As a result it is absolutely worth getting your ducks in a row by completing your Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pre-order this week in order to make the most of the limited bonuses you can get. Plus what better companion move to enjoying the release of Star Wars: the Rise of Skywalker's final trailer then by boarding the hype train - or staying on it - and committing to a lovely, lovely Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pre-order. (Yes, we know that sounds weird.)
There are two main different versions of the game - Deluxe or Standard - up for grabs and each will bag you some bonuses. And so, there is no try to pre-order, only do or do not pre-order, and these are all the details you'll need to successfully complete your Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pre-order.
Get the best Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pre-order deals
Your host of go-to retailers are all getting in on the pre-order Star Wars action and you can (generally) pick your most oft-visited one for convenience. Somewhat refreshingly, perhaps, but definitely straightforwardly, the two main versions of the game up for pre-order - standard and deluxe - are the most commonly found. This will be the main decision you face. There are some retailers on both sides of the pond who have got a few more things going on. Either way, whatever version you want, and whoever you'd like to go with, all the details are laid out below.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pre-orders - Deluxe Edition
The most goodie-packed pre-order option is the Deluxe Edition. It's only about $10 / £10 more than the standard edition (see below) so is well worth considering if you've saved up for this game. The 'basic' pre-order bonuses you'll get are cosmetics for your character's equipment and droid: a skin for BEE-D-1; an Orange Lightsaber Blade coloring; a Mygeeto campaign hilt; and an Umbraran campaign hilt. These are effectively the standard edition's pre-order bonuses but you get them with the deluxe by default too. On top of those, however, you'll get: a director's cut video or videos including some behind-the-scenes footage; a digital copy of the art book (for physical ones, see below); and some additional in-game cosmetics (Crimson skins for the mantis ship and for the droid).
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pre-orders - Standard Edition
Pre-ordering the standard edition of the game will get you slightly stripped back pre-order bonuses but still a good bit of digital fun, and for 10 dollars less. Pre-order Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order standard edition and you'll get: the Orange Lightsaber Blade coloring; the skin for BEE-D-1; the Umbraran campaign hilt; and the Mygeeto campaign hilt. Still, a decent bunch of goodies, plus you'll get the hard copy of the game, and it'll be with you on day one. Nice.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pre-orders - Retailer exclusives
To complete the set some gaming-focused retailers both sides of the Atlantic are offering some slightly different versions. In the US, GameStop are offering 'Black Series' editions of both the standard and deluxe versions. This edition gets you a a copy of the game of your choosing, the relevant pre-order bonuses and a 6" / 15cm figurine (which, mysteriously, is not confirmed in terms of character or feature yet). Remember to get the figurine, you'll have to purchase a black series edition at GameStop.
In the UK, GAME have a two different extra versions of the game going: a light-up collectors box which comes with a steelbook, pin badge set, cards and a collectors box; and a more simple steelbook edition which gets you the game but in a UK GAME-exclusive steelbook. Both of these variants are available with either the standard or deluxe editions. Remember these editions are all exclusive to GAME.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order pre-orders - Other items
While pre-ordering the deluxe edition will get you a digital copy of the art book, for some (me including) only the real physical thing will cut it. And luckily, you can order that now too. The version in the UK is the 'normal' hardcover edition which will still be glorious and include a broad range of concept art covering locations, people, weapons and items and more, behind-the-scenes info on the games production, with developers' commentary to guide you and sprinkle extra details across the art throughout. Our US chums seem to have the slightly more exciting version available to them, but it does demand a higher price tag. The limited edition art book covers all the above, of course, but also has a special and unique cover and slipcase inspired by ancient Jedi tomes, as well as a gallery-quality lithograph that is exclusive to the limited edition art book. Give it to me now.
